Scotch Sour

Impress your dinner party guests with this simple, classic whisky cocktail

Ingredients
- 120ml Scotch Whisky
- Juice x 1 Large Lemon – keep the peel for decoration
- 1 x tsp Caster Sugar
- 30ml Boiling
- Water Ice cubes
Method
- Pour the boiling water over the sugar and stir to dissolve – allow to cool.
- Put the cooled sugar syrup, whisky and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for a few minutes.
- Add some ice cubes and shake some more.
- Strain into two glasses – top with some ice cubes & decorate with lemon.
